Who Is Eduard Gurinovich and Is He Behind Hamster Kombat Crypto Game? New Reports Revlead His Name as the Founder of HMSTR.
The Bell journalists discovered that Eduard Gurinovich, a Russian IT entrepreneur and founder of CarPrice and CarMoney, is one of the creators of the game “Hamster Kombat.”
Sources claim that two months before the launch of Hamster Kombat, another domain named hamsterkombat.com was registered simultaneously with the game’s main domain.
Russian Telegram channels suggest either this was a coincidence or the same people registered both domains but forgot to delete the registry data for hamsterkombat.com.
The email address ap[at]arenum.games, listed in the registry, belongs to the Cypriot company Arenum Ltd, in which Gurinovich and fellow Russian entrepreneurs Alexander Zelenshchikov and Alexander Pasechnik are shareholders.

Gurinovich left his CEO position at CarPrice in 2017 and invested in several startups, including Dbrain, R-Set, and blizkie.ru.
He also launched Expload, a blockchain platform for monetizing in-game activities, and Mytime, a blockchain platform allowing users to earn cryptocurrency for time spent at different companies.
The Bell also reported that Telegram, where Hamster Kombat was launched, is a beneficiary of the game. Hamster Kombat provides Telegram with a way to earn from new cryptocurrencies and promote the TON blockchain and mini-game platform. According to Pavel Durov, Telegram’s founder, this platform aims to rival WeChat by integrating various services. The Bell noted the promotional buzz around Hamster Kombat as “the biggest free advertising campaign in Telegram’s history.”
