Dubai Princess ‘Sheikha Mahra’ Divorced Her Husband on Instagram. This is the First Time in History that Something’s Happened Like That.
The Dubai ruler’s daughter announced her divorce from her husband in an Instagram post.
Sheikha Maryam wrote:
Dear Husband,
As you are occupied with other companions, I hereby declare our divorce. I divorce you, I divorce you, and I Divorce you.
Take care.
Your ex-wife.
Sheikha Mahra is the daughter of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates.
On Wednesday (July 26), she wrote on her Instagram account, addressing her husband: “Take care of yourself.”
Sheikha Mahra referred to himself as the “ex-wife” at the end of the post.
The Dubai ruler’s daughter married Sheikh Manna bin Mohammed bin Rashid bin Maktoum in April 2023 and they had a daughter in May 2024.
Sheikh Manna bin Rashid bin Maktoum, Mahra’s husband, has not yet commented on this matter.
The two parties no longer follow each other on social media and have deleted their shared photos.
