Four Major Airdrops to Watch This Week
While the market turns red, cryptocurrency airdrops may offer investors a way to profit and provide some relief.
Buzz.Fun (BUZZ)
Buzz.Fun is pioneering the first-ever Meme Coin Exchange (MCEX), revolutionizing the way meme tokens are traded and distributed. Built on a custom contract compiler, this platform offers advanced features for creators, traders, and community members.
Buzz.Fun has confirmed that it will airdrop its native token, BUZZ, to users. The project’s website mentions that there are at least two more airdrop seasons to come. In a recent announcement, the exchange stated:
Buzz.Fun has been updated. Enjoy the changes. Phase 1 will start soon, and registrations will reopen shortly. Level 1 access codes will be released at any moment.
In the first season, Buzz.Fun plans to allocate 20% of the total BUZZ token supply to users who register, connect their Twitter accounts and wallets, and earn experience points (XP). The airdrop details are as follows:
- 20% of the total BUZZ token supply is allocated for the airdrop.
- Users earn BUZZ tokens by registering, connecting their Twitter accounts and wallets, and collecting XP.
- Additional points can be earned through referrals.
XOS (XOS)
XOS is the first Layer 2 solution on the Solana network, aiming to enhance scalability and network performance while maintaining cost efficiency. The platform supports various blockchain technology sectors, including GameFi, DeFi, and Web3 applications.
XOS processes transactions off-chain before finalizing them on the main Solana network, seeking a balance between scalability and security. After raising $55 million, the project has confirmed it will hold an airdrop. The details are as follows:
- 20% of XOS tokens are allocated to the community.
- Users earn points through daily check-ins, referrals, and group activities.
- The scoring system will determine the rewards, which will be converted to XOS tokens during the Token Generation Event (TGE).
- The conversion rate of points to tokens will be announced closer to the airdrop date.
The TGE is scheduled for June, three months after the launch of its testnet.
MetaBrawl (BRAWL)
MetaBrawl is another significant airdrop this week, combining blockchain technology with competitive fighting games. In this game, players use characters inspired by the world of cryptocurrencies and NFTs to battle each other, earning rewards through skill improvement and community engagement.
Although the MetaBrawl airdrop has been confirmed, its multi-level reward campaign continues until February 20, 2025. Participants can increase their rewards by completing daily tasks, actively engaging with the community, and referring others. The airdrop details are as follows:
- The game operates within the BRAWL token ecosystem.
- $25,000 worth of BRAWL tokens will be distributed among 50 lucky winners.
- Players can earn rewards by participating in battles and interacting with the community.
- Participants must invite up to 20 friends to maximize their earned rewards.
In this game, NFTs have added tangible value to in-game items, with each NFT representing unique characters with different combat skills. The project also aims to launch an AI bot named “MetaBrawl AI bot” to improve user experience and customer support.
Venice (VVV)
Venice is a decentralized AI platform built on the Base network, offering text, image, and code generation services. The project prioritizes user privacy and, unlike traditional AI platforms, processes all data on users’ devices to enhance information security.
Venice has confirmed its airdrop. Erik Voorhees, the founder of Venice.ai, recently thanked the project’s early users and stated:
Dear Venice.ai users, thank you for pioneering with us. At current prices, $250 million has been airdropped to more than 150,000 of you.
In fact, after the December 31 snapshot, one-quarter of the project’s total supply has been allocated to the user community, who can claim it until March 13, 2025. Additionally, some tokens have been distributed among AI ecosystem protocols such as Virtual Protocol (VIRTUAL), Terra (LUNA), AIXBT, and more. The Venice airdrop details are as follows:
- 50% of the total VVV token supply is allocated for the airdrop.
- 25 million VVV tokens are allocated to Venice platform users.
- Another 25 million VVV tokens are allocated to participants in the crypto and AI ecosystem on the Base network.
- To be eligible, users must earn at least 30 points and have an active account from October 1, 2024.
These airdrops present exciting opportunities for investors and users in the current market climate. As always, participants should conduct their own research and exercise caution.
