Arat later addressed the incident, expressing his disappointment: “Yaşananları söylemedim, kulübümü rencide etmedim. Tahammül edemiyorlar,” he said, accusing Yamantürk of disloyalty to Beşiktaş and demanding his immediate resignation.

“Tevfik Yamantürk, derhal Divan başkanlığından istifa etmelidir,” Arat declared, hinting at deeper internal conflicts involving past club decisions, including a controversial remark about Süleyman Seba, a revered Beşiktaş figure.

Beşiktaş, a club with a proud history as one of Turkey’s “Big Three” and the first Turkish team to advance undefeated to the UEFA Champions League knockout phase in 2017-18, now faces a public relations nightmare.
